The Cleopatra II slot is a follow up from IGT to their most successful slot to date, Cleopatra. While the theme looks similar, the gameplay is quite different especially when it comes to the free spins, In the video above, you can see the free spins bonus round in action. Like Cleopatra, the bonus trigger is 3 scatters in view, but instead of the standard 15 spins at 3x you get in the original game, IGT have implemented a unique increasing multiplier feature. You pick a box, get your spins, and then every spin the muiltiplier is increased by x1.

You generally get up to 14 free spins with the average being around 10. The thing you really want - but it's rare - is a retrigger. You get the same number of spins again but the multiplier keeps going up by x1. Very nice - if you can get it. I like Cleopatra II a lot (to the extent I built a microsite for Cleopatra 2 in fact!), but still marginally prefer the original although it's worth adding that Wagerworks have launched an (almost-exact) clone of Cleopatra II in the vampire themed Bitten slot - well worth a look if you like the Cleopatra II slots.
