The 50000 Pyramid slot from IGT is apparently based on a gameshow with the same name although I've never seen it here in the UK. The slot itself is pretty decent though and one I play quite frequently, mainly because you can get some decent big multipliers (10x) in the free spins.

In fact, if you know Captain Quids Treasure slot (which I have come across in UK casinos) then you will see a similarity in the 50000 Pyramid slot. In this game, when you get the free spins, you select blocks from a pyramid which award free spins and multipliers. Captain Quids is similar except you pick plots of buried treasure from little Islands. You can potentially get up to 40 free spins with a 10x multiplier in both games.

Although I wouldn't say 50000 Pyramid is the best of the IGT online slots, it's definitely worth a look if you haven't played it before. I marginally prefer this game to Captain Quids Treasure but would still prefer to spend my money on slots like Pharaohs Fortune despite the 6x max multiplier.
